When are the application deadlines?

Grant applications for the Cultural and Creative Arts or the Social Services are due on February 28th each year.  Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the deadline date.  If the date falls on a holiday or a weekend, the Monday immediately following will be considered the deadline date.

What are the minimum and maximum grants available?

  1. Arts and Social Services:  $5,000 to $25,000. 
  2. Student support in the Fine and Performing Arts:  $5,000 to $10,000.

How do I submit my application form?

Application forms must be submitted electronically (PDF only).

Is my program/project eligible for funding consideration?

What is The Leon and Thea Koerner Award in the Fine and Performing Arts?

Funding is available for pre-professional students from British Columbia who wish to pursue their studies in the performing and/or visual arts at a recognized institution anywhere in the world.

How do I obtain the documents related to the granting process?

When will I be notified of the Governors’ decision?

All grant applications are reviewed by the Governors and recommendations are make to the full Board of Governors at its meeting held in mid-May of any given year.

Applicants will be notified of the Governors’ decision in writing shortly after the Board Meeting. 
Telephone or e-mail enquiries will not be answered.
